Patrick, i've set up knoppmyth before. i ended up xing it cause i couldn't get the tvout working. i probably could have fooled around with it a bit more though. if you want mpeg4 you'll have use to transcode I tried knoppmyth and it had issues with my nvidia card i've got a pvr-350 the fedora method worked well for me yeah i may try that. I'll be installing it next week on my new toy their notes look like they may equally apply to debian though, so i may try some of their howtos for tvout. I picked up a dual layer NEC DVD burner for $62 from newegg newegg is awesome so, how much have you guy's paid for your 350's? I paid $120 on Ebay dann, cool. there are some other nice repositories for debian for things like decss and mplayer, but i'm not sure what's available for the ppc builds.
